Canada, France, and UK Threaten Action Over Israel’s Gaza Offensive as 22 Nations Demand Aid Access

Tel Aviv:  The leaders of Canada, France, and the United Kingdom have issued a stern warning to Israel, threatening “concrete action” if it does not halt its renewed military offensive in Gaza. This call comes amid a growing chorus of 22 countries urging Israel to allow humanitarian aid into the blockaded Gaza Strip.

The diplomatic pressure marks an escalation in international response to the ongoing conflict, as Israel continues a large-scale operation with plans reportedly aimed at taking control of the entire Gaza territory.

In defiance of these demands, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has dismissed the calls for a ceasefire, reaffirming his commitment to press forward with the offensive. Netanyahu’s government maintains that the military actions are necessary to dismantle Hamas and ensure Israel’s security.

The 22 countries expressing concern have urged Israel to permit unrestricted access for food, medicine, and essential supplies to Gaza’s 2.3 million residents, who are facing severe shortages after more than 11 weeks of blockade and bombardment.

The tensions underscore the widening diplomatic rift over Israel’s tactics in Gaza, where the humanitarian crisis has deepened dramatically, drawing widespread condemnation from international organizations and governments alike.

As Israel pushes ahead with its campaign, the world watches closely, balancing calls for security with urgent demands for humanitarian relief.
